Plough size: The plough bottom size is the width of furrow that it is designed to cut. It is measured as the horizontal distance between the wing of the share and the landside. In tractor drawn ploughs, 30, 35 and 40 cm plough bottoms are most commonly used.

It is a mold board whose surface is made of slats placed along the length of the moldboard, so that there are gaps between the slats. This type of moldboard is often used, where the soil is sticky, because the solid moldboard does not scour well in sticky soils.
