sustainability of home gardens requires that the wellbeing of community or society – the combination of community liveability, environmental sustainability and economic prosperity – is maintained or improved over time. Measuring sustainability is about monitoring how each of these is tracking over time.
As part of the Measuring Sustainability of home gardens, the set of sustainability indicators to look out for include:
social and human capital (skills and education; health; employment; security; institutions, governance and community engagement)
natural capital (climate and atmosphere; land, ecosystems and biodiversity; natural resources; water; waste)
economic capital (wealth and income; housing; transport and infrastructure; productivity and innovation).

It is interesting to learn that home garden is the bowl of personal and social expression. My papers extended detail understanding on this matter. I invite both of you to read and please let me know should you need further info.
Thank you.
